From my personal view, I would undergo the genetic testing due to the valuable data it could provide about the potential to develop a degenerative and debilitating disorder. Therefore, I would take the right medical path to deal with the disorder and to reduce or control its cons as possible.        Genetic testing requires submitting a genetic sample of individual’s hair, blood, and other tissue, and by analyzing this sample the examiner would be able to identify the genes that are responsible for any potential to have a mental disease. Also, people who would take this test and work on improving their mental health conditions would avoid the social stigma, societies have made toward people with mental illness, their performance in workplaces, for example.
